I WISH YOU KNEW

Rereading the poems I made 6 years ago makes me smile. I can’t imagine how stupid I am for falling in love with JRT. My first love or rather, my puppy love. It’s funny reminiscing the times when my friends and I were still obsessed with the clique, “R18”, and its members JRT, MIT, JEP, etc. We were Freshmen, young and innocent. They were Juniors, good-looking and popular. We thought that what we felt back then was already Love. Little did we know that our heartbreak with those guys is just a first of many tears and heartaches.

PLEASE

This is an untitled poem written by one of my favorite high school teacher. He is now a well-known fashion blogger in Japan. Check his blog out! http://jennechrisville.com

LIFE IS NEVER EASY

WORDS

I'm wonderful just because I'm me

There are so many things to love about yourself; a gazillion reasons why we should be grateful that we were born. One of those is that we are a unique individual created by the Omnipotent. Another is that we have some qualities other people does not have.

Many people loathed themselves because they think they are hideous but I believe that there is no such thing as an unattractive person. There are only few who does not feel good about themselves or who thinks they're ugly that's why they unconsciously project a bad image or bad impression towards others, resulting to being "unattractive".

In my case, I always feel conscious and insecure about myself before. I always feel jealous of others' beauty and talents. I even blame myself for spawning to life with nothing to show off. I realize though, that I should not be anxious and actually be proud of myself because I am an exceptional human being. In fact, I should love being me. I am good in literary compositions and others are not so I must be exultant that I can do some or better things other people can not do - even those whom I envied. I may have flaws -- we all have our different imperfections -- but this must not hinder us from loving ourselves.

We are all beautiful in our own special ways and we must always, always put that in mind.
